The core mechanic of Divine Lance Paladin is Resolve Stacking. Furthermore, activating Teleport grants you Unstoppable status, which is invaluable for maintaining control over the flow of combat. In 2026, the shooting game market has long since moved beyond simply pursuing the thrill of gunfights. It has begun to explore elements such as survival, tactics, and teamwork. ARC Raiders was initially one of the most impressive titles in this wave.

ARC Raiders debuted in October 2025, attracting a large player base with its revolutionary gameplay design. However, less than six months later, its popularity plummeted from a peak of nearly 500,000 concurrent players to only about 10% of its former level.

Even after Riven Tides Update, its player count never returned to its peak. Why?

Awkward Update Speed and Boring Content

It all started at the beginning of 2026. After Embark launched its Cold Snap winter-themed event, Embark entered a month-long "silent period" - at the start of 2026, when ARC Raiders players were desperately craving new content, they didn't release any new information for three consecutive weeks.

When they finally made a move at the end of January 2026 with Bird City event, players found it to be a complete farce - instead of fighting new Arc enemies, players were simply rummaging through empty rooftops and abandoned chimneys. The thinness and repetitiveness of the content were laughable, and the game's popularity plummeted.

The subsequent ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Update was even more tedious. While Embark introduced a new element - the map condition Hurricane - its gameplay was virtually identical to Cold Snap, except that the "health continuously decreasing" mechanic was replaced with a more subtle "shield continuously decreasing" mechanic. Many players felt this was simply blatant reuse of existing assets.

What angered players even more was the serious bugs plaguing ARC Raiders at the time. For example, when encountering Hurricane on the map, players could easily loot high-value Arc Raiders Blueprints. This allowed many players to exploit the bug to obtain large amounts of Blueprints, even creating multiple accounts to farm them, ultimately causing a severe devaluation.

These problems not only tested players' patience but also eroded the game's credibility in their eyes.

PvPvE Mechanism Malfunction

Another significant reason for ARC Raiders' declining popularity was the malfunctioning PvPvE mechanism. Embark's strategies for catering to different player groups contained fundamental logical contradictions.

For instance, the game featured a PvE-friendly matchmaking mechanism, intended to alleviate new players' fear of PvP duels with significant skill disparities, allowing them to farm resources safely against ARC enemies in an environment with minimal risk of being attacked by real players.

However, this adjustment precisely removed the game's core appeal. When you choose solo matchmaking, you can avoid encountering any PvP players for extended periods. When you finally get shot, your first reaction will likely be anger and bewilderment: "Why would a normal person prepare for this? I've played ARC Raiders for dozens of hours and never been attacked."

Furthermore, new players might assume they won't encounter PvP players and confidently bring powerful ARC Raiders items, only to have those weapons looted by PvP players if they get attacked.

The real irony lies in the fact that this "newbie protection" matchmaking mechanism is fractured: if you want to play with friends online, PvE friendly matchmaking completely fails, leaving you constantly at risk of being ambushed by enemy squads.

In addition, this mechanism creates conflict between PvE and PvP players, and because the problem remains unresolved, the tension between the two sides is escalating. When players are constantly embroiled in disputes and conflicts on forums, it becomes difficult for them to simply enjoy the game itself.

Disappointing Riven Tides Update

Embark released the most anticipated update for ARC Raiders in 2026 at the end of last month - Riven Tides Update. However, contrary to many players' expectations, Riven Tides Update isn't as fun as anticipated.

First, while designed as a three-star difficult map, its design flaws significantly increase its difficulty in practice. The open map is filled with Bastions, Rocketeers, Vaporizers, and the new ARC enemy, Turbine. The unreasonable number of these ARC enemies makes Riven Tides a "new player killer."

And what about veteran ARC Raiders players? Turbine's characteristic is its slow descent from the sky; its speed is very slow. Therefore, when veteran players face it, they only need to find Turbine's well-known weakness, throw a few grenades, and the battle is over instantly. Turbine offers them nothing new.

Secondly, Riven Tides gameplay loop is extremely boring. Players must don bulky Metal Detectors and traverse vast beaches, following faint audio cues in an attempt to dig up a tiny, laughably insignificant item, all while enduring the constant threat of being ambushed by enemy ARC.

The reward for all this effort is pitifully low - most of the time you only get something worth a few coins.

Furthermore, Riven Tides suffers from other design flaws: for example, the extraction mechanics are severely unbalanced, with an unprecedentedly low number of extraction points. While most maps have at least four extraction points, Riven Tides only has two, spaced a mere 100-200 meters apart.

Even more tragically, Riven Tides' terrain is incredibly open. When attempting to extract, you're faced with a desolate, undefended area, offering virtually no cover from the relentless enemy fire. This extremely illogical terrain configuration leads to inexplicable and utterly defenseless deaths. Many players, after experiencing this frustration, simply abandoned the map altogether.

Regardless, as a fan and player of ARC Raiders, and as a consumer of the game, I sincerely hope that Embark will take these issues seriously and provide players with a better gaming experience.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred expansion introduces a wealth of cool and exciting new build options. With a brand-new skill tree system and various new content additions, everything feels completely fresh. Let's take a look at the rankings for the strongest builds in Lord of Hatred.

Currently, no one can know with absolute certainty the exact power level of every single build. The analysis we are presenting here is largely based on the best possible deductions drawn from the information currently available to us.

This list highlights a select few build options that appear to sit at the very top tier and for which we already have a solid foundational understanding. Therefore, please treat these rankings as a reference guide only. Below, I will introduce them to you in descending order of power.

In short, I had an absolute blast playing this class; it will undoubtedly be the undisputed Child of Meta for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred expansion. However, you should ultimately choose the class that you find the most fun or the coolest to play. Do not let raw power be the sole factor dictating your choice.

Hell Fracture Warlock

Hell Fracture Warlock boasts an incredibly wide area of effect (AoE) and benefits from astonishing damage multipliers. This build is perfectly suited for clearing out massive hordes of monsters. You can summon colossal Hell Fractures, tearing open deep abyssal rifts across the ground.

When paired with a new weapon called Spine of Tathamet, you can continuously summon these Hell Fractures, unleashing an absolutely ferocious barrage of damage. The power of this build is truly formidable; it has the ability to instantly engulf your entire screen in a blinding explosion of roaring flames. I am confident that DPS output of this build will be truly astonishing, and it is poised to become one of the most sought-after and popular builds among players in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred.

Hammerdin Paladin

Ranked third on the power tier list is Hammerdin Paladin. The reason this build delivers such spectacular performance is entirely thanks to a brand-new gear set revealed in recent gameplay footage showcased by Diablo 4 development team: while in Arbiter Form, you gain the ability to cast all Ultimate Skills in any cooldown restrictions.

Furthermore, your Disciple Skill - specifically the core Hammer ability - receives a massive damage multiplier boost of up to 500x. Moreover, for the entire duration of Arbiter Form, this skill operates with zero cooldown.

Although the build's overall power was slightly tempered due to adjustments made to Argent Veil mechanic, a closer look at its skill tree configuration reveals that this Hammerdin build remains fully functional and capable of unleashing truly terrifying destructive power. It is, without a doubt, a frenetic build built around extreme speed, allowing you to leverage its high mobility to effortlessly weave through hordes of enemies.

Whirlwind Barbarian

The powerful return of Whirlwind Barbarian has sparked immense anticipation and excitement. The development team has personally pledged that they have invested significant effort into optimizing this build, striving to transform Whirlwind into a truly viable and potent build with genuine practical utility.

For the past three years, Whirlwind had fallen completely out of the meta, languishing as a bottom-tier build with virtually no competitive viability. However, thanks to recent updates and balance adjustments in Diablo 4, Whirlwind has finally arrived at its moment in the spotlight, re-emerging as a dominant and formidable build once again.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred introduces substantial enhancements to the gear associated with this build. For instance, the core item Gohr's Devastating Grips has received a massive buff; additionally, a brand-new Aspect - specifically tailored for Channeling Skills - has been introduced to the game. These changes have significantly boosted Whirlwind Barbarian's overall power level and burst damage potential.

Arbiter Wing Strike Paladin

Arbiter Wing Strike Paladin is an incredibly popular build that is particularly well-suited for leveling purposes. You can choose to combine this playstyle with Hammerdin Paladin build, or you can opt for a pure, standalone Wing Strike approach. The only piece of gear for Wing Strike build that faced a nerf was Sanctus of Ketama. Previously, it offered a multiplicative damage bonus of up to 400% and came bundled with a suite of incredibly potent passive effects, such as Giant Slayer. Although it has since been toned down, it remains a highly practical and effective item.

Furthermore, this is a build with exceptional survivability. You have the option to pair it with various Diablo 4 items and skills focused on shields. By doing so, the build's tankiness becomes truly astonishing; I am confident that its performance in actual combat will be nothing short of outstanding.

Summon Skeleton Necromancer

The developers have completely reworked Necromancer class. You can now command a maximum of 28 minions - a feat made possible entirely thanks to the newly introduced Under Crown helmet.

Summon Skeleton Necromancer is borderline absurd in its power: you can summon an additional 4 Skeleton Mages and 4 Skeleton Warriors. Moreover, you retain complete control over their actions. Regrettably, we have not yet seen the full set of gear components for this build, so further adjustments may still be on the horizon.

However, what is certain right now is that you can invest skill points to empower your Skeleton Mages and Warriors, pushing their combat effectiveness to the absolute limit. I believe this will prove to be an exceptional build - not only for the leveling phase but also for the endgame, where it holds the potential to evolve into a top-tier, S-rank powerhouse.

The above represents our preliminary overview of the most promising builds for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, based on the information currently available. This ranking is largely a reasonable extrapolation derived from the current skill trees, gear reworks, and select gameplay demonstrations; ultimately, the build that is truly best suited for you is one you must discover through your own personal experience.

Torchlight: Infinite SS12 Lunaria will launch on April 16th, simultaneously on PC and mobile. The biggest highlight of this season is the seasonal mechanic for Luna Statues, which the developers call one of the largest changes to the mob cycle in the game's history.

A brand-new seasonal gameplay, a new summoning system, new heroes, and a completely revamped seasonal progression system with a new trading system are coming soon. We've also learned about changes to Vorax mechanic.

Let's take a look at these changes to help you choose your strategy for the new season!

New Season Gameplay

Luna Statues will appear on your Netherrealm map. You can use Lunar Rings to awaken them and then kill them for loot. Combo counts directly increase drop rewards, so you'll need to use Lunar Rings in areas with high monster density to maximize your gains.

You can use Celestial River to automatically activate Lunar Rings. When six or more statues are activated, Celestial River will automatically trigger, automatically using Lunar Ring and waking them up, allowing you to unleash your attacks.

We are currently unsure if adjusting the density of these statues and monster hordes, allowing them to cluster at high density, would enhance Celestial River's effect and ensure it triggers automatically every time.

Special Triggers

• Triggering Lunar Radiance will cause a golden statue to appear on the map. Monsters beneath the golden statue drop more loot.
• Triggering Dark Moon's Descent will summon the enemy unit Midun. Defeating Midun will yield substantial loot.
• Triggering Moonlight Revival will cause all Lunar creatures on the map to revert to statues. The area will immediately be refilled with statues, giving you another chance to achieve a full hit.

Vorax Mechanism Changes

They have made some changes to Vorax mechanic and added a Void Chart. A UI indicator has also been added showing when Vorax substance is fully charged to prevent accidental waste.

Ultimate Potions

In the current season, some ultimate potions only appear in the last few rounds, preventing you from fully utilizing their potential.

Now, they've adjusted the frequency of ultimate potions, making them appear more frequently before the start of each round. This allows you to maximize their use, making your rounds more exciting and rewarding.

Crafting System

You can no longer combine two legendary affixes from two different items into a single Vorax item. Now, you can only obtain them from two legendary affixes from the same item. This is a significant nerf, but expected.

Modularization

Summon System hasn't been updated in a while. The new Modularization mechanic for Synthetic Troop builds is coming soon.

Basic Effects

Module skills extract monster traits and create a clone with some of the monster's abilities to fight alongside you. The more attributes you invest, the more powerful the clone becomes.

To unlock module skills, first activate the corresponding talent in Profound Talent Constellation, then defeat native bosses in Netherrealm stages. This will give you a chance to obtain their modules. When the Lunar New Year season launches, the game will offer a significantly larger selection of boss module options.

Additional Affixes

In addition to their basic effects, module skills will randomly grant additional affixes. For example, kill explosions can increase the movement speed of summoned creatures and your own movement speed; another effect can lock the erosion resistance of nearby enemies at 10%. Frankly, even if module skills aren't your core playstyle, these affixes are worth using.

A Complete Overhaul of Elixir Skills

The new hero, Saint Weaver Sage, focuses on elixirs, extending their duration and enhancing the elixir effect. He can dynamically adjust the licorice recipe in his perfume bottle based on combat needs, achieving different effects with the same tools.

Elixir of Immortality converts health and mana regeneration into temporary health and mana beyond normal caps. The more you convert, the higher your damage bonus. This means the more you heal, the stronger your attacks become. The addition of Sage has led to a complete overhaul of Elixir Skills.

This season, Elixir Skills will be separated from Restoration Skills, becoming an independent skill type called Elixir Skills. Unlike regular skills, Elixir Skills use charge points instead of cooldowns or mono. You accumulate charge points by defeating enemies. With this system becoming independent, Elixir Skills have also been significantly expanded.

Renewed Memory

Hero Memories are a core component of Trade System. This season, a new upgrade system called Renewed Memory revolves around Hero Memories, completely changing how you build and invest in traits. It introduces a new crafting method called Revival, which unlocks hidden power within Memories.

Using basic Revival materials, you can add Revival effects to Memories. Unlike Corrosion, Revival effects can coexist within the same Memories.

The core of Revival is Young Moon effect. You can also stack Lunar Ring effect, providing highly cost-effective affixes in the early and mid-game.

In Top Tier Ultimate Memories, the affix pool will be significantly expanded, including hero-specific affixes tailored to each hero's design. Each hero-specific affix has a dedicated directional crafting item for targeted selection.

Chromatic Shots: Basic Mechanics and Ill Omen Mechanics

Chromatic Shots, after the rework, also have a chance to explode on kill and now include area-of-effect attacks, along with two new exclusive support abilities. You can increase the damage bonus of the primary element and improve projectile velocity and tracking.

Chromatic Shots' spectacular effect cycles through different damage elements in sequence, ensuring the application of the appropriate element and dealing higher damage to targets with all elements active simultaneously.

DOT builds perform well in the ancient game but are weaker in the late game. Killing high-difficulty targets takes longer, map clearing speed is slightly insufficient, and the ability to farm Torchlight Infinite Currency is also inadequate. However, the new season introduces the Ill Omen mechanic, a new debuff specifically targeting DOT builds.

When a target has 10 stacks of Ill Omen, it will suffer massive damage. Both normal and magical monsters will be instantly killed. Elite monsters will take true damage equal to 30% of their maximum health.

Later optimizations include lowering the trigger threshold, increasing the stacking speed, and enabling trigger spread, which can trigger chain reactions in groups of monsters, significantly improving monster clearing efficiency.

In Arc Raiders, a weapon's performance and role often determine a player's tactical choices when facing different enemies.

For players familiar with Arc Raiders ecosystem, a weapon's value lies not only in its stats but also in its competition with the existing weapon pool. Dolabra has sparked a widespread discussion about what kind of PvE capabilities a Legendary weapon should possess.

This article will examine Dolabra's actual performance in combat, considering its crafting cost and resource acquisition difficulty, to explore its true role in the current version of Arc Raiders.

Dolabra's Disparity

Dolabra's most appealing feature is its exaggerated bullet spread. When facing aerial missiles launched by Bombardiers, players don't need precise aiming; simply pointing in the general direction of the target will allow the spread of bullets to completely destroy the missile in mid-air.

It makes interception maneuvers that previously required extremely high precision effortless. In contrast, hitting fast-moving aerial targets with traditional weapons like Anvil is a significant challenge for most players.

Two bullets can destroy a flying unit, and shooting its thrusters can also damage those behind it - this efficiency seems quite good. However, when we turn our attention to more powerful enemies, Dolabra's shortcomings become glaringly obvious.

Take Covered and Bombardier as examples. The standard strategy for most PvE weapons is to directly attack their top weak points, utilizing their high armor penetration to quickly inflict massive damage. Equalizer, Jupiter, and Hullcracker can all achieve this kill in a short time.

While Dolabra also possesses strong Arc armor penetration, its actual kill time is significantly longer than the aforementioned weapons. Using a lower-quality Anvil or Patina might actually resolve the issue faster. This means that Dolabra not only offers no advantage in core PvE scenarios but also slows down the pace of combat.

Analysis of Dolabra's Performance in Combat

To compensate for its lack of direct damage output, players have developed a specific tactic against Dolabra: first, double-shot Covered or Bombardier's yellow knee area to briefly paralyze them.

Use this opportunity to circle around to their back and destroy the yellow ammo canister with four bullets, exposing the internal core. Then, unleash all ammo while the core is exposed. This process sounds strategic, but it suffers from two fatal flaws in practice.

During the brief period of enemy paralysis, players cannot inflict sufficient damage before the magazine runs out. Once reloading is needed, the enemy will stand up again, significantly diminishing the previous effort. If the same tactic is executed with Volcano, the enemy would already be completely eliminated.

When attacking the cores of Matriarch and Queen, Dolabra's damage per magazine is exactly the same as Equalizer.

However, the difference in rate of fire and the somewhat clunky reloading animation result in a drastically different actual damage output efficiency. Equalizer can empty its magazine and reload much faster, while Dolabra's slower rate of fire gives enemies more time to retaliate or recover.

Dolabra truly proves its worth when dealing with Wasps, Hornets, and Fireflies. Its two-shot kill efficiency rivals other top-tier PvE weapons, and thanks to its large bullet spread, players hardly need precise aiming. For players who find aiming too tedious, Dolabra offers a convenient solution.

However, taking down small flying units isn't a particularly challenging task; Jupiter, Hullcracker, and even Equalizer can achieve similar kill speeds. Dolabra's performance in this area is merely adequate, far from the dominance expected of a Legendary weapon.
