MoP Classic Phase 4 is almost here! Everything you need to know before March 31st
Phase 4 of Mists of Pandaria Classic will officially launch on March 31st, 2026. Phase 4 introduces a wealth of new content, including Quest Campaign: Escalation, Four New Scenarios, and Heroic Scenarios.

Quest Campaign: Escalation
You will receive Quest War is Coming in Faction City in Pandaria to begin this campaign. Afterwards, you will visit Lorewalker Cho, embarking on an epic adventure.
This questline will take you through two brand-new scenarios: Dun Morogh and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Completing these quests will ultimately unlock Battlefield Barrens battleground.
Battlefield Barrens
Battlefield Barrens is a time-limited world event. Completing Quest rewards you with a set of gear worth 489 ilvl, which is especially beneficial for newly leveled alts. While not as powerful as the Celestial Dungeon Gear, it can help you enter Dungeons.
Here, players can use various resources such as meat, stone, and wood as currency to trade for pets, toys, and Transmog. You can also use Rainstick to create rain in Battlefield Barrens.
Legendary Quest continues
Wrathion's journey continues and needs your help again. Only players who have completed the earlier quests of Wrathion are eligible to continue this questline. This stage of Legendary Quest Chain is highly rewarding, granting players an item, the ilvl 600 Epic Cloak. This challenge is quite difficult.
Brawler's Guild updates
Brawler's Guild returns! Players can finally complete the final challenge, reach level 10, and obtain their own Brawler's Burly Mushan Beast.
Players can challenge new-level bosses and explore VIP-only areas reserved for top-ranked brawlers. The difficulty of the bosses will gradually increase. If you haven't yet defeated all 28 challengeable bosses, it's recommended that you do so as soon as possible.
Brawler's Guild Invitations can be obtained with Gold in Auction House, through trading with other players, and also have a chance to drop from Rare Mobs in Pandaria.
In addition, MOP Classic phase 4 introduces Challenge Cards. You can unlock Challenge Cards after reaching level 8. These cards may drop from monsters and are sometimes given as rewards. With these cards, you can challenge additional bosses.
Brawlers who successfully prove their strength and reach level 9 will receive an additional Guild Invitation, which can be traded or shared with friends. Furthermore, the experience required to level from 85 to 90 will be reduced by 33%.
Four New Scenarios
MOP Classic phase 4 introduces new scenarios. The first two scenarios are mandatory for players to advance the leveling questline and unlock Battlefield Barrens, while the other two scenarios are optional and simply supplement the story.
Blood in the Snow
Blood in the Snow marks the start of the leveling questline. Horde players will take on the role of Humans, assisting Varion and Dark Iron in defeating the Ice Trolls of Shimmer Ridge to complete this scenario.
Dark Heart of Pandaria
In this scenario, Lorewalker Cho witnesses the true face of Horde Chief Garrosh. Alliance players will take on the role of Goblin to complete this scenario, assisting the goblin engineers of Vale of Eternal in uncovering a mysterious artifact and dealing with the ensuing trouble.
Secrets of Ragefire
Secrets of Ragefire features two bosses and is faster-paced and more relaxed than other scenarios. In this scenario, you will become a Goblin, investigating a series of disappearances near Durator and earning the title of Gob Squad Recruit.
Battle on the High Seas
Battle on the High Seas varies slightly between factions, but the overall process is the same: kill pirates, destroy enemy ships, defeat the enemy Admiral, and deal with some random events related to dice rolls. Defend your faction's fleet and fight the enemy for control of the seas.
Heroic Scenarios
WoW MOP Classic introduces six Heroic Scenarios in this phase, including new experiences and enhanced versions of popular Scenarios that are more challenging than the regular ones.
Entering these scenarios requires a pre-formed party and features additional objectives. Completing these objectives earns extra rewards, including Valor Points and opportunities to obtain Epic-quality items and gear. Players can earn additional Valor Points daily by completing Normal or Heroic difficulty Scenarios.
To enter a Heroic Scenarios, you must form a pre-formed party of at least 3 players. Normally, upon successfully completing each Scenario, you will receive a Heroic Cache of Treasures. This chest primarily contains WoW MoP Classic Gold, but there is a very small chance of obtaining high-quality items and gear. These items are Bind-on-Pick-Up and come with random enchantments.
