New Enemy Vaporizer
In Close Scrutiny, Vaporizer is a new ARC enemy that you might encounter at any time. It moves similarly to Matriarch and also has shields. It can track the player and attack through obstacles such as garage doors and walls.
As a flying ARC, its speed and shields are its advantages, but it still has unavoidable weaknesses. Vaporizer's shields have a cooldown, so you can wait for them to disappear before attacking.
Early on, it's recommended to shoot the rotors, as destroying one will cause smoke, dealing significant damage to Vaporizer. Afterward, you can precisely attack its underside, its weakest point, to inflict the most effective damage.
For such a difficult enemy, the rewards are naturally quite generous. Defeating Vaporizer may drop Vaporizer Regulator, the most coveted item, which can be used to craft weapons.
Resource Strategy
In this mode, we need to use different strategies to scavenge resources.
The main resource points are Combat Supplies, which are easily found in this map environment and will appear when you approach them. You can obtain weapons and ammunition from Combat Supplies. Sometimes you can even find Bobcats.
Raider Caches offer little advantage in Close Scrutiny, dropping almost nothing of value. Try not to spend too much time on them in the game.
Taking down ARC Surveyors is also a good option; they're not difficult to attack, yield a lot of loot, and are generally cost-effective.
