In Wuthering Waves 2.1 version released on February 13, the game launched a new battle mode called Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways, which is updated once a week. If you are familiar with this game, you may feel that this mode is actually a bit like a smaller version of the recurring Depths of Illusive Realm event.
Since Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways will provide you with good rewards after being completed, you may want to familiarize yourself with and complete it as soon as possible after entering the 2.1 update, but this mode requires you to read a certain story and progress in the game to unlock it. Based on this, we will introduce you to how to enter and complete it.
Unlocking Method
First, your Union level must reach at least level 30, then you must complete the prologue part of the second chapter of the main quest: Through the Sea Thou Break, and take this opportunity to go to Ragunna City in Rinascita. After everything is completed, a side quest called Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways will appear in your quest log.
This side quest will lead you to find Encore’s Cosmos near Resonance Nexus in Ragunna City and talk to him, after which you will be sent to Thessaleo Fells - the place where Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways begins near Resonance Nexus in this area.
How To Complete It?
First, you need to form a team of three Resonators to enter this mode, just like playing other Wuthering Waves modes. After that, it is recommended that you add Dreamscape Aid effects to your team before you start experiencing this mode. There will be a new Dreamscape Aid resonator rotating in the game every week. Even adding only one effect to your team will increase Illusive points by 150%, which can help you get the weekly rewards in this mode more smoothly.
The main effect of Dreamscape Aid is Lucid Dream, which will provide you with a powerful buff effect. You can automatically activate this effect by filling up Dreamscape energy gauge. The generation of Dreamscape Energy is based on your completion of basic attacks and other weekly conditions.
Once you’ve prepared, you’ll need to progress through 13 memories in Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways, each of which provides Metaphors as currency for resonators and dream fragments. memory 6 and 12 are memory lounges, where you can trade dream fragments for additional Metaphors, and memory 7 and 13 are boss rooms, where you can trade Waveplates for additional rewards after completing challenges here.
Metaphors in this mode are generally more straightforward than those deep in Illusive Realm, with most providing a variety of simple buffs, and Dreamscape Power Metaphors that can modify and enhance Lucid Dream effects.
That’s it for the ideas and notes on completing the weekly Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways mode, so be sure to complete the challenges in time to get the relevant rewards!
