Star Wars Outlaws 1.5.2 Update Released
Star Wars Outlaws was one of the most anticipated AAA video games last year, but many fans were disappointed after its release. Some players who have experienced it said that they did not like the over-emphasis on stealth in the game. In response, the developer promised to improve it through a series of updates and story DLCs.
The biggest post-release change implemented in Star Wars Outlaws so far is the removal of insta-fail in many stealth-focused missions in the game to appease players who prefer running and shooting. Recently, the developer released another new patch for the game on all platforms.
New Features
Graphics (PC)
Fixes fog and cloud issues related to Ray Reconstruction, including the following two aspects:
- black outline around Kay in foggy areas
- graphical anomalies in volumetric fog/clouds
Performance (PS5)
Fixes a possible crash when using Photo Mode on PS5
Issues
The Star Wars Outlaws 1.5.2 update is small, taking up only a few GB on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and the list of changes is very minimal. Strangely, the patch notes for this update do not mention any fixes for the Xbox version of the game, despite the update being heavier than PC and PS5 versions at nearly 4 GB.
At the bottom of the patch notes, the developer adds that another issue has been discovered that prevents players from flying into space on Kay’s ship Trailblazer, which may be fixed in the next update? For now, players who encounter this problem should be able to reload a manual save as a temporary solution.
As the first open-world Star Wars game ever, this August marks the first anniversary of the game’s release. The current Star Wars Outlaws route is coming to an end, but the official release date of the last DLC, A Pirate’s Fortune story, has not yet been announced. Perhaps in August this year, this game will bring us fresh surprises. Fans can stay tuned.
