Since its launch, Monopoly Go has been widely praised for its unique gameplay and light social mechanics. It has attracted many players through frequent limited-time events and a collection system.
Recently, Monopoly Go launched a new event: Carnival Games. This event requires players to collect continuously falling tokens on the board. Only by using these tokens can players participate in the guessing games.
Currently, there are three Carnival Games available.

First is Juggle Jam, which is essentially a ball-guessing game. You need to use a hidden line in the game as a clue to guess and find the correct position of each ball. This tests players' logical reasoning abilities.
Then there's Fortune Flip, a divination-style card game. Compared to Juggle Jam, this relies more on luck.
Finally, there's Battleship, the first PvP minigame launched by Monopoly Go. You'll duel against opponents you're matched with, trying to sink as many of their ships as possible.
During the event, you can freely choose to participate in any minigame, all of which will reward you with tickets. You can use these tickets to redeem dice, sticker packs, and in-game money. If you accumulate enough tickets, you can also redeem safes filled with prizes, which can be opened to obtain sticker packs, helping you add to your Monopoly Go stickers collection!
If you want to delve deeper into the game mechanics of Carnival Games, then this guide is a must-read!
How To Participate In Carnival Games?
Players need to accumulate tokens on the board; these tokens are required to participate in the games. If you're struggling to collect more tokens, consider the following:
- Monopoly Go Banner Event: Land on Chance, Tax, and Utility tiles
- Tournament: Land on Railroad tiles
- Daily Quick Wins: Find them in the bottom left corner of the screen. Complete 3 tasks daily for a chance to win tokens
- Daily Free Gift: Available in the daily menu shop. Free Gifts refresh every eight hours, so remember to claim them promptly
Once you've collected enough pink tokens, you can participate in Carnival Games.
Of Carnival Games launched this time, Juggle Jam was included from the beginning of the event, while Fortune Flip and Battleship were introduced later.
Next, I'll explain in detail how to play these three games:
Juggle Jam
This game revolves around puzzle-solving. Players need to place different balls in specific positions to find the correct sequence. Its gameplay is similar to Wordle; correctly guessed balls are saved in their positions, and then you only need to guess the positions of the remaining balls.
The puzzles in this game have no fixed pattern; players can choose the order in which they guess based on their preference. Integrate the information gathered, then choose the next puzzle to guess, continuing until all information is collected.
For example, if we initially determine the correct order of two balls, we then need to place the remaining balls in their respective positions and observe if they are correct. Use the process of elimination to determine the order in which the balls should be placed, and repeat this process using the tokens we have until all tokens are used up.
Fortune Flip
This is a casual divination game. One second the situation might be unfavorable, but the next second it could drastically change, leading to a rich reward.
Before each round, players receive a set of cards.
Each game offers 8 chances, each time allowing players to choose one card from 3-4 cards. Before each round, each card and its effect are shown to the player. After viewing, the cards are shuffled and placed face down.
Each card can bring unexpected effects. Some cards will bring you generous rewards, while others will lower your score, which is something we don't want to see. Therefore, this mini-game is closely related to every choice we make. If you feel lucky, you can give this mini-game a try.
Regardless of which card we choose, the effect of that card will affect our total score.
If you sometimes feel frustrated with the current situation, we can turn the tide by acquiring special cards. These cards might allow you to draw two cards, or they might have buffing effects like clearing all unfavorable cards for a turn.
At the end of each round, our total score is calculated and converted into a corresponding number of Carnival Tickets. We can use these tickets to redeem the rewards we want.
Battleship
This game is Monopoly Go's first PvP mini-game. The gameplay borrows from the classic board game of the same name. The game mainly involves two players competing against each other, with the goal of sinking the opponent's ship.
Battleship requires players to spend at least 10 Carnival Games tokens to unlock. Before each match begins, players need to place four warships, two bombs, and one treasure bottle on a 7x7 grid according to their preference. If you don't want to think about the placement yourself, you can press the random button to let the system place them for you.
After placing the items, click "Play," and the system will randomly match you with an opponent. Once in the match, you'll see a blank grid. You can use cannons to fire shells to attack and reveal any square on the grid; there are 25 shells in total.
Each shell will have a different result. It might hit nothing, it might hit a part of the opponent's warship, and with luck, you might find a treasure bottle, or even hit a bomb!
You need to complete all rounds and fire all your shells within 5 minutes. At the end of the rounds, the player who sinks the most warships wins.
Carnival Games Rewards
Players can earn Carnival Tickets in Carnival Games, which can be redeemed for desired prizes.
Once you accumulate a certain number of Carnival Tickets, you can use them to redeem the rewards you want. For example, sticker packs and chest rewards will refresh after being redeemed.
The above is a detailed introduction to Carnival Games gameplay in Monopoly Go. If you're interested in casual games and want to give it a try, then these are definitely your top choices. We wish you a perfect gaming experience!
