In Helldivers 2, SMG-203 Gallant can be unlocked on the first page of Exo Experts Advanced Warbonds for 35 medals. It's a special variant of MP-98 Knight, sacrificing some single-shot damage for moderate armor penetration (AP3) and a longer barrel, increasing its muzzle velocity to 450 m/s.

Its appearance and mechanical design are inspired by the classic FN P90; both are compact bullpup submachine guns with top loading, downward ejection, and a futuristic warfare aesthetic.

Most importantly, SMG-203 Gallant is the only submachine gun in Helldivers 2 that can be operated with one hand while possessing moderate armor penetration - a completely new tactical combination. Let's analyze its attributes, compare its strengths and weaknesses, and see what role SMG-203 Gallant should play in your arsenal.

Advantages

SMG-203 Gallant boasts a top rate of fire and moderate penetration, making it particularly reliable against Automatons. It quickly and effectively eliminates mobs, and is superior to other SMGs in dealing with Illuminate enemies.

SMG-203 Gallant is also very effective against Veracitors and Gatekeepers. Against enemies like Scout Striders and Berserkers, a single headshot is enough to eliminate them because of its incredibly high rate of fire.

Its short bursts prevent you shooting at dying targets. Full-auto fire is best reserved for targets with high health, high durability, and low armor, such as Fleshmobs and Chargers.

Like most SMGs, SMG-203 Gallant is also one-handed, allowing you to carry other Helldivers 2 Items in your off-hand while holding the weapon in your primary hand. This allows SMG-203 Gallant to be used with SH-20 Ballistic Shield.

You can also carry important mission items, such as SSSD Hard Drive in Retrieve Valuable Data missions, or High Value Sample found in Fortresses in Super Helldive Difficulty.

Compared to MP-98 Knight, Gallant rifle also has a slightly higher muzzle velocity of 450 m/s, giving it a slight edge in long-range engagements.

Disadvantages

In Helldivers 2, SMG-203 Gallant shares the same disadvantages as MP-98 Knight and AR-23P Liberator Penetrator: high ammo consumption; you can empty your magazine in just two seconds.

The high rate of fire means most bullets either hit already dead targets or miss entirely, and SMG-203 Gallant's greater recoil exacerbates this.

Furthermore, each bullet only deals 65 damage. If you want to quickly eliminate enemies, you have to empty your magazine. Killing a scout in Helldivers 2 consumes about 30% of a magazine, and reloading after running out of ammo is a real hassle.

This is especially true when facing fast-moving Bugs and swarms of enemies. SMG-203 Gallant is particularly disadvantageous against the new Bugs, as killing them will accelerate the movement of other Bugs, requiring you to use additional items to complement the weapon.

Most importantly, I feel this gun's role in Helldivers 2 is unclear. While it has its unique utility - it's a fast-firing one-handed AP3 weapon, which is certainly good - there aren't any specific enemies in Helldivers 2 that require it, and it can be easily replaced by other weapons.

If you need ammo with medium penetration, Reprimand is a better choice; it has higher power and more efficient ammo. If you encounter situations where you need to empty your magazine, you can choose Knight.

If you want a submachine gun with medium penetration, you can choose Reprimand. If you want a one-handed weapon, you can choose Stoker. SMG-203 Gallant lacks a specific enemy type of counter.

Attachments and Equipment

Regarding SMG-203 Gallant upgrades, I recommend using a Vertical Foregrip, paired with a Compensator and an extended magazine. The gun's initial Ergonomics is 75, which isn't very high, and the extended magazine further reduces it by 15. However, even with the low Ergonomics, SMG-203 Gallant's bullet spread is very concentrated, which is sufficient for use.

If you don't want to equip Compensator but want to slightly improve your Ergonomics, you can choose Muzzle Brake and Flash Hider, but both will significantly increase your vertical recoil. If you don't equip Vertical Foregrip, and the barrel doesn't have underbarrel, your bullet spread will be more concentrated, but the recoil won't be ideal.

I believe SMG-203 Gallant's strength lies in its instant-fire capability and the need for reduced recoil. Therefore, Compensator paired with Vertical Foregrip is the optimal choice, maximizing SMG-203 Gallant's potential.

In addition, this gun requires a larger magazine capacity, making an extended magazine necessary. For ample ammo, carrying B-1 Supply Pack is essential. You can also equip Reinforced Epaulettes, which provide a 30% reload speed bonus, allowing you to unleash ammo faster and boosting your DPS. Siege-Ready armor passive is highly recommended, as it compensates for ammo shortages and helps maintain ammo levels for SMG-203 Gallant.

While SMG-203 Gallant's ammo consumption is astonishing, it hasn't yet found a truly fitting role in Helldivers 2. However, its unique selling points are undeniable, promising a thrilling shooting experience. If you're looking for a novel experience, Gallant is definitely worth considering.

Recently, with the release of information about Helldivers 2 Exo Experts Warbond, a significant number of players, instead of eagerly awaiting its official release, are angry about Arrowhead.

Angry players are venting their frustrations in gaming communities, while those who are looking forward to it hold opposing views, leading to a heated debate between the two sides.

Regarding this debate, I'd like to briefly summarize the reasons for the argument, the opinions of both sides, and some of my own thoughts.

Reasons for Debate

If you're not quite clear on what happened, let me first explain the trigger for this debate.

In short, Helldivers 2 Exo Experts Warbond will add two new exosuits: EXO-51 Lumberer and EXO-55 Breakthrough.

These two exosuits look cool and powerful. EXO-51 Lumberer is a classic exosuit borrowed from Helldivers 1, featuring an Anti-tank Cannon on the right hand and a Flamethrower on the left. EXO-55 Breakthrough is a newly added Tank-type exosuit with strong defensive capabilities and perhaps even armor penetration.

The problem is that these two new exosuits have been crammed into the Exo Experts Warbond, which requires Super Credits to unlock - something that has never happened before.

We all know that unlocking Exo Experts Warbond and obtaining new exosuits, weapons, and cosmetics requires 1000 Helldivers 2 Super Credits. For players, acquiring so many Super Credits is a significant burden, both in terms of time and money.

Therefore, this substantially increases the cost of obtaining these two new exosuits, leading to the controversy among players.

Two Opinions

First, let's talk about the opposing side. They believe that in the past, all exosuits in Helldivers 2 could be obtained for free by completing Major Orders with other players. Once a Major Order was completed, all participating players received the exosuit, such as EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit, EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit, and Bastion Tank.

This method not only aligned with the game's setting but also fostered team spirit, making players comrades-in-arms.

However, if new exosuits can only be obtained through Exo Experts Warbond, it not only betrays the camaraderie among players but also means that previously free exosuits now require Super Credits.

A greater concern arises: if this sets a precedent, what about next? Will all new exosuits, weapons, and even gameplay elements no longer be free? Perhaps this is Arrowhead testing the waters with their players.

Another group of players argues that, firstly, this is a PvE game; even if your character isn't strong enough, you can still enjoy the game by playing with other players, making exosuits unnecessary. Secondly, Super Credits can be obtained in-game, so they don't place a significant burden on players.

My Opinion

Frankly, firstly, I think the arguments of the pro-Super Credits players are untenable because obtaining Super Credits in Helldivers 2 is extremely tedious and time-consuming. You need to run around the map opening chests without shooting or fighting (to save time), repeating this hundreds of times.

Furthermore, there's absolutely no difference in the number of Helldivers 2 Super Credits that drop between different difficulty levels - for example, level 1 and level 10. The developers have mentioned possibly changing the drop rate, but so far, there's been no change.

Most people have to go to school or work; those who can spend a lot of time playing games are a minority. This means that obtaining new exosuits solely through opening chests in-game is virtually impossible.

I agree with most of the opposing viewpoints. However, I don't believe that all future gameplay will require Super Credits. After all, Arrowhead has never locked the core gameplay into Warbond; you can play the entire game without spending a single penny. This has become a defining feature of the game and will not change.

Underlying Reasons

The entire Helldivers 2 community is embroiled in a huge argument over the two exosuits. But have you considered this - before this, most players didn't actually think the mechs were that powerful?

The exosuits themselves are only mediocre in terms of strength; most people don't use them much anyway. So why are they fighting tooth and nail over Exo Experts Warbond?

This leads to the deeper reason for this argument: Arrowhead has placed Warbond gameplay in too central a position.

If you're a veteran player, you should remember that completing Major Orders used to reward you with truly valuable items, such as new stratagems, new armor sets, new capes, and even some unique weapons.

But what about now? At least in my personal opinion, most Major Order rewards are just a bunch of useless items.

The problem is this: normal gameplay doesn't offer anything good, while all the coveted new content has been crammed into Warbond. As a result, players' main goal has shifted from enjoying the game itself to grinding for Super Credits, and this discrepancy is the deepest source of anger and disappointment.

If Major Orders could offer meaningful rewards again, and players weren't limited to Warbond for good stuff, then public opinion on this would be much more moderate.

This concludes my summary of this debate and my personal opinion. I hope it's helpful.

Want to perform better in Get Hit by Lightning trial? That means you need the right gear and smarter, more accurate decision-making. Now, let's explore some great ways to get a high score.

Gear to Carry

Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor)

If you have Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor), be sure to bring it to the trial. This increases your carrying capacity and gives you a chance to escape with all your medical supplies after being knocked down.

Grinding for these items can be tedious, so it's best to bring them back with you.

Renegade and Hullcracker

These are for suppressing ARC and avoiding attracting more enemies. Remember, killing ARC isn't our ultimate goal. Ideally, there should be no ARC interference.

Photoelectric Cloak

The cloak is mainly used against Rocketeers, as we'll be stationed on Testing Annex roof during the trial, where Rocketeers sometimes patrol. If you are accidentally discovered by Rocketeers, you can use the cloak to escape danger and avoid wasting valuable time in combat.

Herbal Bandage

We can use Herbal Bandage at the start of the raid. Lightning usually intensifies later in the raid, and the more players nearby, the denser the lightning becomes. So use it early and use more efficient healing items later when the lightning is more intense.

More Efficient Healing Supplies

Sterilized Bandage and Vita Spray should be saved for later when the lightning becomes stronger, as they heal faster.

Vita Spray instantly heals 50 health, without wasting healing because of subsequent injuries. Here's a small tip: tapping is more efficient than holding down, healing faster and depleting durability more slowly.

Snap Hook and Adrenaline Shot

These two are mainly for players to quickly reach the target location at the beginning of the raid. They are basically unnecessary later. Carrying about five Adrenaline Shots is ideal.

Defibrillator

We need to place Defibrillator near the activity area beforehand, on rooftops or the ground. In the game, double lightning strikes sometimes occur, or you might be hit by another lightning bolt while still reeling from a previous strike, knocking you down before you can heal. If you have a defibrillator, nearby players can help revive you, making it easier for others to revive you and for you to revive others.

Of course, this is a rare item; you need to acquire ARC Raiders blueprints beforehand if you want to craft it.

Zipline

Ziplines play a crucial role throughout the entire ARC Raiders game. They connect rooftops to extraction points. If you are knocked down and others don't have a zipline or snap hook, they may not be able to quickly rescue you.

Trial Process and Decisions

Opening Assessment

Ideally, you should spawn near Testing Annex, but the most important factor isn't the spawn point, but rather that your final extraction point must be Testing Annex.

Low lightning strikes early on are okay, as most points are earned later. Don't lose confidence at the start of the game.

Choosing a Position

When choosing a position, if you find you can't reach the lightning strike points, immediately change your position.

If lightning strikes the ground, you'll have the advantage of a flat surface, making it easier to dash towards any lightning strike location. You can also use building protrusions to avoid Rocketeers.

Dealing with Rocketeers

Here's the situation we described earlier: you'll inevitably encounter locations patrolled by Rocketeers. Don't panic. If there are building protrusions, use them to stay out of Rocketeers' line of sight. Having a Photoelectric Cloak makes things even easier; just be careful not to run out of energy.

Medical Supplies Usage

Early on, use Herbal Bandage for continuous healing. In the mid-game, if you get injured, use Vita Spray to quickly heal, avoiding wasting it.

Later in the game, when lightning is concentrated, primarily use Sterilized Bandage for instant healing. If necessary and if other players are present, use Defibrillator to revive. Only by surviving and successfully evacuating will your score be counted.

The key is to avoid wasting medical supplies. Of course, you don't want to waste your resources, but getting struck by lightning while healing and wasting health is a passive waste.

Key Mechanics and Tips

The frequency of lightning is affected by the number of nearby players; generally, the more players, the more lightning. This is why we recommend choosing the Testing Annex rooftop, as other players will pass by or complete trials there later.

There are also some tips for scoring on lightning hits. A center hit scores higher than an edge hit; if you keep getting hit on the edge, your score might not be very good.

Escape Advice

Testing Annex rooftop and surrounding ground are high-lightning areas. Our final escape point must be Testing Annex itself to ensure that even if you are knocked down, you can crawl to the escape point. It also makes it easier for other players to pass by and rescue you.

Another advantage of Testing Annex rooftop is that there are fewer ARC enemies; we can use the protruding structure to avoid Rocketeers.

If you can complete Get Hit by Lightning trial using the above methods, you should get a good score. Good luck finding friendly players!

As an extraction shooter, ARC Raiders has cultivated a large and loyal player base. Yet, despite being a game that everyone seems to be raving about, it is actually riddled with numerous problems-some of which directly and severely impact the player experience. We need to take a serious look at these issues and address them head-on.

Players Subjected to False Bans

Account bans are a common occurrence in gaming, but they typically happen only when players have violated specific game regulations.

Recently, however, a significant number of ARC Raiders players have been complaining about having their accounts banned for a wide variety of reasons.

Some bans were initially cited as violations of Terms of Service or End User License Agreement, only to have the stated reason later shift to a violation of Code of Conduct. These constantly shifting justifications are, quite obviously, unconvincing.

Perhaps the most outrageous case involves a disabled player who-due to a physical condition affecting their joints-requires the use of specialized assistive devices to play the game. This player was astonishingly, banned not once but twice.

It wasn't until the second ban occurred that Embark finally acknowledged the error and admitted it was a false ban; however, they offered neither a formal apology nor an assumption of responsibility.

The root cause of this specific banning incident lies in the fact that when such assistive devices are connected to a PC, the game's anti-cheat system frequently misidentifies them as illicit hardware or macro scripts.

Similar instances of false bans have occurred frequently and have now become one of the hottest topics of discussion within the game's community.

Perhaps ARC Raiders should consider whitelisting players with special needs or developing a compatibility solution to accommodate them. Otherwise, the current situation is deeply unfair to these specific players.

Issues Regarding Future Mechanics

When discussing future game mechanics, the developers of ARC Raiders revealed that the team hopes to introduce scenarios reminiscent of Hoth invasion sequence in Star Wars-specifically, using grappling hooks or ropes to entangle the legs of massive enemy units, causing them to trip or become immobilized.

While this concept seems particularly well-suited for Matriarch in ARC Raiders, it presents significant technical challenges.

First, the game requires a more robust physics engine for rope dynamics; the current physics system suffers from jittering issues that negatively impact animation quality.

Second, implementing such mechanics would significantly increase server resource costs-a factor the development team cannot simply decide to undertake on a whim.

Furthermore, there are internal disagreements within the team regarding this feature.

The technical team argues that incorporating such physics-based interactions would enhance the game's sense of realism and foster more creative gameplay opportunities. Conversely, the game designers contend that such mechanics do not align with the core creative direction of the game.

They can also innovate in terms of the robots' appearance and modes of locomotion. However, the team must strike a delicate balance between achieving technical breakthroughs and maintaining conceptual coherence within the game's design. 

Slow Content Updates

Recently, ARC Raiders Flashpoint finally introduced a new weapon: Canto. It gives players added incentive to search for ARC Raiders blueprints. However, the pace of weapon updates has been somewhat sluggish. A lack of weapon variety will inevitably cause players to gradually lose interest.

Regarding in-game bugs, recent updates have successfully resolved numerous issues-such as reloading glitches, disappearing staircases, and problems with Rocketeer enemy type. Nevertheless, player feedback indicates that a significant number of annoying bugs still persist and await fixing.

The Loss of Loyal Players

We are already aware that several high-profile players, including Peanuts, Cloakzy, and TimTheTatman-have stopped playing the game. They have all moved on to other titles, choosing to wait until ARC Raiders receives more substantial narrative-driven updates.

More recently, Ninja also stepped away from ARC Raiders due to issues related to stream snipers. It is truly regrettable that these absurd situations-which could have been entirely avoided-are slowly but surely driving away the game's most loyal players. ARC Raiders truly needs to prioritize addressing these issues.

Key Community Feedback Points

Furthermore, players within the community have primarily highlighted the following issues:

• Unreasonable Map Rotation: Bird City map currently appears only during specific special events and is almost never included in the standard map rotation. Consequently, players wishing to complete missions on this map are forced to endure extremely long wait times.
• Artificially Suppressed Resource Spawn Rates: For instance, when players need to gather specific plant resources, the system appears to deliberately reduce the spawn density within those particular zones. Additionally, Electromagnetic Storm event currently rotates in only once per day.

The proper approach would be to raise the required objective thresholds, rather than frustrating players by artificially lowering resource spawn rates.

In summary, ARC Raiders still faces a multitude of issues that require immediate attention. The developers cannot simply sit idly by and risk alienating their veteran player base. We hope to see a more polished and complete version of ARC Raiders emerge in the future.

Monopoly Go launched a brand new sticker album today, titled Monopoly Ever After. The album contains 24 sets of stickers; collecting all the stickers unlocks a large number of dice and other collectibles. New Content

Fairytale Shut Down

This brand-new gameplay infuses classic raids with a fairytale element. It's not just about destroying landmarks; it's become a mini-hide-and-seek game of finding hidden pigs.

When you successfully raid another player's landmark, several hidden pigs will appear on the screen. You need to tap them to get rewards. Each tap has a chance to reveal extra dice, milestone progress points, tournament points, and more, meaning the more you tap, the more rewards you can get.

Fairytale Heist

The new album introduces a brand-new Magic Mirror system, adding a layer of strategy and luck to the bank heist gameplay. During the heist, the new Magic Mirror will intervene when you need to choose from several doors.

As you open doors, it gives you a chance to discover hidden gems. Once you find these hidden gems, the final reward for the heist will be greatly increased.

Ever After Chance Card

The new Monopoly Go album, Monopoly Ever After, adds a special chance card that speeds up the game's pace. When you draw Ever After Chance Card in the game, it will immediately trigger an attack or bank robbery.

This design is very straightforward, aiming to make the game flow more smoothly. It reduces your turns of waiting and moving on the board, directly immersing you in competitive mini-games and increasing the game's tension and mystery.

Enchanted Storybook

Enchanted Storybook, one of the biggest additions to Monopoly Ever After album, is key to obtaining rare Monopoly Go Stickers. Storybooks can be earned as rewards in Monopoly Go by participating in events, completing daily tasks, achieving rankings in tournaments, and progressing through Tycoon Express system.

Opening a storybook allows you to freely choose and lock one of 24 fairytale-themed sticker sets you particularly want to complete. Selecting a set will generate a personalized sticker pack containing the corresponding story set's stickers.

While opening storybooks, you also have a chance to encounter Lucky Fairies, who will give you extra surprises, such as even more premium stickers.

Returning Events

In addition to the newly added events mentioned above, events from previous albums will return with a fresh fairytale style. These include Racers set in a fairytale world, collaborations with partners to create fairytale-themed works, and exploration of unknown secrets and treasures in a fairytale castle. As you complete each sticker set, you'll receive various rewards, such as emojis, shields, stickers, and other special items related to album unlocks and subsequent events. The rewards increase as you progress.

Completing the entire Monopoly Ever After sticker album will reward you with Puss in Boots Tokens, 15,000 free Monopoly Go Dice, and a significant amount of in-game cash.

Collection Strategy

Monopoly Ever After album contains 216 stickers, including 33 gold stickers. As is well known, high-star and rare stickers are very difficult to obtain, involving a high degree of randomness and the possibility of duplicates, preventing you from collecting the ones you want.

To maximize the use of Magic Storybook, I recommend choosing later-game sets that contain more gold or high-star stickers when selecting story sets after acquiring the storybook, such as Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, and Beauty and the Beast. As a third-person extraction shooter, the map is one of the core elements affecting the player experience. Whether exploring areas or collecting items, everything relies on the map's conditions. The arrival of Riven Tides is exciting because it will change players' strategic habits to some extent.

What exactly does the new map environment mean?

The new map environment is dynamic. Yes, you heard right. This means that any weather and water level change is possible. Players may encounter severe storms at any time when entering the planet's surface. At best, you'll miss the opportunity to collect equipment or materials, but what if you're chasing an opponent? A sudden storm can disorient you, rob you of your pursuit advantage, and leave you with nothing. As for water level changes, rising tides are almost inevitable. If you are walking in shallow water, your movement and path planning will be threatened.

Imagine that once you're accustomed to the controllability of a static map, the unknown environmental risks will inevitably force a change in your combat strategy. Of course, you can use tools or equipment to cope with specific changes. Choosing the right tools will also be crucial for survival in harsh environments, such as Ziplines and Snap Hooks.

Please note that the performance of dynamic map environments depends not only on the server refresh rate but also on the player's hardware capabilities. In large-scale battles, setting volume and water rendering in advance will better help players have a stable frame rate. We all know that frame drops directly impact the player's gaming experience.

A new large ARC

Next is a new large ARC. From the released concept art, we can see that Riven Tides in April will bring players a more threatening ARC. Unlike the previous Rust Belt regions, new ARC is set in coastal areas. Players will face higher risks and larger scales battles in PvP, with unpredictable raid difficulties. Collecting ARC Raiders blueprints will also demand a greater emphasis on teamwork.

Battles are not without a chance of victory. First, you need to learn to conserve stamina and minimize the consumption of medical supplies. Choosing suitable seawalls or other reliable terrain will help players minimize the impact of environmental changes during combat and conserve enough stamina to fight. Additionally, when fighting powerful ARC bosses, be wary of PvP ambushes.

New Expedition Window

Expeditions have always been an excellent opportunity for ARC Raiders players to earn extra rewards. The last expedition window was from February 25th to March 1st, 2026. Expeditions are not mandatory, but you must register during the window if you want to experience something new. Currently, choosing an expedition is worthwhile, although you will reset your progress and lose all items, the rewards from the expedition are incomparable.

The new expedition window has not been released yet, but we can predict that your resources and economy will significantly impact the expedition's outcome. Completing challenges and acquiring better equipment and weapons will maximize the rewards. If you are in a squad with top-tier gear, you will have an advantage in securing more loot. If you are a solo player, don't worry, just keep your attention on the periphery areas from time to time and be prepared to plunder prime resources.
