Recently, Monopoly GO and The Simpsons collaborated, bringing a series of themed events and items related to the animated series. Players can battle on a new Simpsons-style board, controlling characters from The Simpsons in parkour mini-games and collecting stickers of the animated characters.

However, today I want to focus on Homer Token - a token designed based on Homer Simpson, the father character in the animation.

What is a Token?

Simply put, a Token is a chess piece on the Monopoly GO board. Players use Tokens to indicate their position, and moves start from their current position. Besides this basic function, Tokens also serve decorative, display, and collectible purposes.

Tokens are collectible items. Although only one Token can be used per game, this doesn't stop players from enthusiastically collecting them. From classic original tokens to various collaborations featuring diverse styles, such as Marvel and Star Wars, you can freely switch between them to make your gameplay more unique.

In short, tokens are not only important movement items in the game but also collectibles and a way to express your personality. If you want to stand out in the game, spending some time collecting tokens is a brilliant choice!

How to get Homer Token?

Homer Simpson is perhaps the most popular character in The Simpsons, often making silly mistakes but deeply devoted to his family. The token designed based on him is also highly sought after by players, featuring his iconic white shirt and blue pants, making it easily recognizable.

To obtain Homer Token, players need to collect a complete set of The Simpsons Sticker Album. This album contains 21 sets, totaling 189 Monopoly Go stickers. These stickers include characters, locations, emojis, and various famous scenes from The Simpsons.

Once you complete the collection, Homer Token will be automatically awarded to you as a reward. Besides tokens, you'll receive an extra 15,000 free dice rolls. While free, collecting all 189 stickers is no easy feat.

How to complete the sticker collection faster?

Completing the entire album requires timing, teamwork, and a degree of self-discipline.

Start early

First, you should start collecting as early as possible. This collaboration only lasts about two months. If you only start collecting in the last week, you'll be begging for stickers like a beggar. Even then, you'll likely fail to complete the collection.

Furthermore, the early stages of the collaboration are crucial for collecting low-star stickers and completing normal sets. Later, collection progress will gradually slow down or even stagnate, as you'll need to focus on rare stickers. Completing normal sets early on will reward you with dice, which will help you explore the sticker event more deeply later.

Use dice wisely

Secondly, you should participate in as many daily events, tournaments, and special events as possible. These events offer sticker packs containing both normal and rare stickers. However, don't blindly participate in events, especially if you don't have many dice.

Don't waste a lot of dice on every event. Carefully review the event information before participating, such as whether they offer sticker packs with more high-star stickers and high dice return rates. Save your dice for events where you can gain higher returns.

Also, pay close attention to items that boost your sticker packs. If Sticker Boom event is coming up, offering opportunities to open sticker packs for extra cards, wait until the event starts before opening the packs. The wait might be tedious, but it's much better than repeatedly opening duplicate low-star cards.

Learn to trade correctly

However, relying solely on in-game sticker packs makes it difficult to complete the entire collection, as the stickers obtained from packs are random, and the probability of getting high-star stickers is very low. Therefore, when players lack certain rare stickers or have too many duplicate stickers, they usually go to the trading community to exchange with other players.

However, there are also some tips for trading. If you have two identical high-star stickers, don't rush to exchange them for a common sticker you don't currently own. High-star stickers are precious, while common stickers, even if you don't have them now, have a high chance of appearing in later events. Save your rare stickers for when you're sure you need them!

Secondly, as the collaboration progresses, rare stickers become increasingly difficult to find. Make sure to trade when the opportunity arises; don't wait until the collaboration is almost over to start looking. Once you're fairly certain which rare stickers you're missing, you can start trading.

Episode Sticker Sets are not needed

Episode Sticker Sets have also been released, each containing 9 stickers. However, players should note that these sets are independent of Simpsons Sticker Album and will not affect the Album's collection progress.

Completing an Episode Sticker Set unlocks exclusive rewards and collecting two sets of the same set grants additional rewards. If you're a die-hard The Simpsons fan, these stickers are not to be missed.

Obtaining Homer Tokens and completing the entire Monopoly GO The Simpsons Album is no easy feat. First, avoid blindly using the dice; second, time your transactions carefully, too early or too late won't work; third, control your urge to open sticker packs, waiting until the best value is available; and finally, remember to distinguish between the main album and episode stickers to avoid collecting the wrong ones. Hopefully, everyone can obtain their adorable Homer Token.
