Let's take a look at this new content!

Mexico City Series Event & Program

You need to collect four cards from Mexico City Series. Two are in the event, and the other two are in the conquests. These cards are completely free. The first card in the conquests is Ramón Laureano. He ranks highest among all cards in power, hitting, pitching, baserunning, and versatility. He excels against lefties, performs exceptionally well in clutch situations, and possesses incredible arm strength. Then there's Zack Greinke, a well-rounded starting card with no particularly outstanding strengths.

Conquer Mexico City Series map by attacking territories, stealing opponents' fans, consolidating your own territory, and moving fans to earn card packs, XP, and player rewards. This map contains eight checkpoints, so it will probably take 2-3 hours, depending on your skill level.

We also have Mexico City event. The two cards are definitely worth getting. One is Michael King, who uses five ball types, primarily a sinker, supplemented by changeups. Key balls include: highly variable sinkers; highly variable changeups; and significantly variable sliders.

On the field, Michael King's defensive ability is below average. However, he performs well in each round and can step up in crucial moments. This is a great free card that you can obtain simply by participating in the event. The other is Lourdes Gurriel Jr., whose hitting ability is quite good. Additionally, completing the entire Mexico City event will earn you a Deluxe pack.

Legends and Flashbacks Collection

Legends and Flashbacks Collection launches today, featuring the new Legend player Miguel Cabrera, who will make his debut at MLB The Show 26.

On the field, Miguel Cabrera is a mid-level defensive player. His overall hitting ability is excellent. Definitely worth getting.

You need 12 Redemption Tickets to get Award Series Miguel Cabrera, and 21 Redemption Tickets to get Milestone Series Miguel Cabrera.

Don't complete Award Series collection until you get Miguel Cabrera, as it's a free card. If you complete Award Series first and then get Miguel Cabrera, he won't help your Award Series collection.

April Spotlight Pack – Drop 4

These players are in April Spotlight Pack. We have Kenley Jansen. I love his World Baseball Classic card. I'm really looking forward to this card; he has a fifth pitch. He has changeup. Jeremiah Jackson can play any position on the field and has pretty good hitting ability. Noah Schultz has a pretty good pitching combination. Trent Grisham, if you're a Yankees fan, you'll be happy to see this card; he's very good at hitting right-handed pitchers. Ryan Ward also has good stats against right-handed pitchers.

April Spotlight Program – Drop 4

Mike Trout will definitely go up in price for cards in Program, and he'll be very rare in the pack. Brandon Valenzuela is a decent card, and then there's Parker Messick, who has a high batting average per nine innings.

Chase Pack 7

If you check the store, you'll find a new Chase card – Craig Biggio, a five-time Silver Bats winner and Baseball Hall of Famer from Awards Series. This is a Diamond card with an overall rating of 94, primarily used as a second baseman.

He's currently ranked first among 341 second basemen, boasting an overall excellent hitting performance with a powerful shot and considerable strength. He's a solid defender, with speed, stolen base, and base-running effort all rated 78. You can acquire him using 88,850 MLB The Show 26 Stubs.

May 1st Event Preview

MLB The Show 26 event outline for early May has been released, and we're about to enter the core phase of Diamond Dynasty. The brand-new Cityscapes card set will be officially released. These cards will pay tribute to players who are inseparable from their home stadium. High-diamond cards with unique artwork will also be released.

A new Program will also launch on May 1st, where you can earn some free premium cards by completing various missions, events, and redemptions. Meanwhile, MLB The Show 26 will also launch a new Diamond Mission.

While these tasks may be challenging, the ultimate reward almost always includes a top-tier diamond player. Whether you're a newbie or a veteran player, this card can easily become part of your starting lineup. The mini-season is also about to receive a full update. New events and new Conquest maps will also be released.

Both the new card packs in April and the new events in May are exciting, so don't sell your silver and gold cards just yet. Clear out other cards you need, and use the time to refine your lineup and stock up on resources to prepare for the content-packed update in early May!
