How To Quickly Earn Money In Dam Battlegrounds And Buried City Of Arc Raiders?

By Alex Carter | Last ModifiedNov 11, 2025

Arc Raiders has been online for a while now, and some players looking to quickly level up may have already realized the value of money. Currently, Arc Raiders has four maps, but exploring only the first two automatically unlocked maps may not be enough to meet your money needs.

Don't worry, though! I know some good places to quickly make money in Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City that can help you get through the early stages of the game smoothly. How To Quickly Earn Money In Dam Battlegrounds And Buried City Of Arc Raiders?

Fertile Land: Dam Battlegrounds

New Arc Raiders players need a lot of money to craft or exchange for weapons and ammunition. Since you're not strong enough in the early game to acquire high-level blueprints through quest rewards and map exploration, all your resources must be exchanged for money. Therefore, money is crucial for new players.

The developers seem to be aware of this and have included some spots in the beginner map, Dam Battlegrounds, where you can easily accumulate a lot of money. Let's take a look at this most cost-effective money-making route.

First, you need to prepare supplies. Although it's a beginner map, there are still some threats.

  • Grenades: At least three, used to ambush guards and destroy obstacles.
  • Weapon: For dealing with potential raiders.
  • Adrenaline Shots: Restore stamina and improve looting efficiency. New players without blueprints can skip this.

Then, mark Research & Administration building on the map and head straight to your destination after entering Dam Battlegrounds.

Actually, you won't need to mark it after you've been there once. As the landmark building of Dam Battlegrounds, it's conspicuous enough for you to remember.

If your landing location is far from it, you can use Adrenaline Shots to speed up your journey and avoid being beaten to it.

We go to the top floor via the blue staircase on the south side of the building. Be careful here, as a sentry turret sometimes spawns in the middle of the stairs; you can destroy it with a grenade.

Upon reaching the first room on the top floor, you'll see a desk with a computer. Resist the urge to touch the drawers on the table. They don't contain valuable supplies and can only be opened once. If other players come by, they can identify you by the drawers, making it difficult for us to escape.

You should head to the door on the right side of the room. This door leads to a corridor. Follow the corridor to the end. If you're targeted by a turret, remember to use a grenade to take it out.

The lockers and two rooms at the end of the corridor are our first destination for today. The row of lockers prominently displayed at the end of the corridor and the lockers inside the rooms contain many valuable Arc Raiders Items.

Prioritize looting valuable items. If you're lucky enough to find weapon parts or high-level crafting materials, be sure to put them in your backpack. As for low-quality materials or unsellable items, it's best to abandon them, as backpack capacity is limited.

After checking all the lockers, you can head to your second destination. Return to the end of the corridor, turn around and go back to the starting room. Follow the left side of the corridor; you'll see a square corridor. Use your weapons to eliminate the patrolling enemies.

This corridor also has several lockers and a room; loot them like the previous destination. Other rooms in the building also have some supplies to loot, but I don't recommend players with insufficient strength go there—the risk is too high.

After looting the valuable supplies in the lockers in these two areas, you can consider leaving. Your backpack will be almost full by then, and the remaining locations don't have particularly abundant supplies, so I don't recommend taking a large backpack for the adventure.

Consider the time; other raiders should be arriving nearby soon. If you get surrounded and killed, you'll lose all the supplies in your backpack, making the trip a complete waste.

Furthermore, for players familiar with the routes and with some skill, I recommend carrying a Raider Hatch Key beforehand. After looting the two destinations mentioned above, you can head to Raider Hatch to earn some more money, maximizing the rewards of this adventure.

Diligence Is Key: Buried City

Buried City, the other map unlocked at the start of Arc Raiders, also has some money-making routes suitable for beginners and players who are already broke. However, its rewards and efficiency aren't as high as Dam Battlegrounds.

Arc Raiders sometimes has a special event called Lush Blooms, which increases loot on the map. We should take advantage of this time to earn as much money as possible.

During Lush Blooms, leaf icons will appear on the map, indicating that the natural loot in that area has received a boost, and you can go and harvest it. I especially recommend one area in Buried City, where you can harvest a lot of high-priced natural loot.

This area is relatively low-danger; if you're only aiming to earn money, you can bring only free equipment, and even if you're defeated, you won't suffer any losses.

First, open the map and mark the building marked Space Travel. Our destination is nearby. Then, head towards this marker. On the east side of the street next to Space Travel, you'll see an art gallery called Galleria Soldanella.

The first floor of the gallery might be guarded by turrets; use weapons to clear them out first, as they are our biggest threat. After clearing them, you can happily harvest Great Mullein on the first floor; don't miss any plants.

After gathering resources, find the stairs leading to the top floor. There are more plants up there, and you can also add any other in-game items you find along the way to your inventory. Once you've cleared the gallery, you can head to the building next door marked with JKV logo to continue looting.

We arrive at the front of JKV building and use the scaffolding to climb the stairs to the sixth floor. There are two rooms here containing some loot. Since this money-making route has no inventory pressure, you can collect everything you see.

Besides these two obvious rooms, keep an eye out for the blocked door; it hides treasure. After entering the hidden door, remember to check every drawer and machine to avoid missing any loot. Don't overlook any backpacks you pass by; you might get free ammo if you're lucky.

After looting here, you can head to the area below the subway station to sell your loot. You can keep some Great Mullein for seed recycling and sell the rest for profit. Great Mullein sells for a higher price, which is why I recommend this area.

If you have enough time, you can also visit other Lush Blooms event locations. This method of earning money has a lower return, but the cost and difficulty are also low, making it suitable for players without equipment to accumulate wealth.

The Inevitable Path

While I personally prefer exploring the map to collect resources or earn money, I must admit that money is extremely scarce in the early stages of Arc Raiders. Adventures to earn money are the inevitable path for most players who want to improve their strength.

After all, in this type of game, it's really difficult to move forward without powerful equipment, and many interesting gameplay elements and areas on the map may be irrelevant to you.

Arc Raiders has only been online for a short time, and there will be more exciting gameplay and gorgeous maps in the future. Take advantage of the relatively small gap between players while you're still relatively even, farm as much money as possible, and prepare for the future!
